Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default tagged out with a bow!!!

Told myself this season that if i couldnt get both my merriams with a bow then i was going to eat tag soup. Well everything turned out better than expected and i learned alot more about the birds as well.

Fantastic. Would like to try and get one with a bow but I have enough trouble getting one with a shotgun. Lol. Great pics.

It took alot more scouting since it is hard for 1 man to run and gun toting a blind, two decoys, backpack, and bow, but it was such a rush. I am definately going to hunt turkeys exclusively with a bow from now on.

My turkey hunting partner got me into archery last year and we have kicked around the idea of taking the bows out for spring turkey. Maybe next year.

Congrats on your success sdhunter11.. and with a Bow!! My first turkey ever was with a bow during our fall season down state and I surely know what that feels like.. I am using the ol shotgun on my spring birds however. I have only gotten into turkey hunting the past couple of years. Until I get a few more under my belt sort of to speak I am sticking with the shotgun...
