Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Went To The Range

Took my Mossberg 835 to the range yesterday. This shotgun I purchased new like 14 plus years ago, and I just put on the fiber optic sights, & wanted to see how it shot with them on, also I have the Indian Creek Choke Tube in it.

I shot the following:

Winchester Suprems, 3.5", 2oz., #5

Hevi-Shot 13, 3.5", 2-1/4oz., both in #5 & 6

The best was the Winchesters, the the Hevi-Shot #5 then the #6
All the shots where taken at 35 yds., all 3 would kill a turkey beyond the 35 yds., but out of the 3 the Winchesters shot the best

I've been thinking of trying an Indian Creek myself for coyotes. What's the constriction of that choke?

I been using the Win. Supremes in 3" with pretty good results. I am using my 18" Accu-Choke barrel with an Undertaker choke tube with my Mossy 500. I am good out to 35 yards and then lose it. However, I limit my shots to about 30 yards anyways. I may get a 24"barrel later, as I would like to try out some sabots for deer hunting. Thanks for the info.
