Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Huge spurs

A buddy of mine killed this turkey on April 15th on our lease. The spurs are 1 9/16 inches. The biggest I have ever personally killed is
1 1/4 inch spurs. I was amazed looking at these spurs.

Congrats to your buddy That’s a nice set of spurs to be proud of

I took one in VT a few years ago that were 1-9/16” and a broken off 1-1/8”. I thought that was awesome because I never took a gobbler with more than 1-3/8”. Then last year my open day WV gobbler was carrying 1-3/4” right spur and 1-5/8” left spur.
