Default Turkey hunting wisconsin

I posted this in the midwest forum but thought i would try here to, i have never turkey hunted in wisconsin before and wanted to get a left over tag, was thinking zone 1 maybe grant county on public land. Has anyone hunted the SW region before whats it like looks like they have some public land. any tips thanks

I am in Zone 1, but in the far north west corner. There should be plenty of leftover tags for 4,5, and 6th seasons, maybe even some 3rd. Looks like a pretty decent amount of public land to hunt, for Wisconsin anyway!

Its a good area. Stick to the smaller public that don't get hunted as much.
