Default Decoys Stolen

Dirty DS stole my decoys out of my groundblind. Atleast they didnt take my groundblind. Even zipped it up after they got into it.
God I would live to catch the person or people.

Even on private property you must guard your gear and take percautions against theft, in our generation morals are optional and ethics are situational. Respect for others property and rights is at an all time low I fear. Those who steal another hunters gear are not hunters, they are simply theives and wicked of heart.

I never had my decoys stolen only because I didn't feel like it was very safe leaving them there. Also at times I would move to different areas. I did have someone mess with my blind though so I ended up taking it down before someone stole that. I am not sure if I happened to come along when they first started to mess with it or not. I do have a couple of stakes missing from it now. I do not see as that is a big deal though as they can be purchased any ways pretty cheaply.

It does suck when someone can not leave your stuff alone though. Dam theives!

Thats pretty sorry, I have had stuff stolen from me in the woods, and I would like to hope and believe that they will be cursed when they enter the woods.

DT, I agree with you 100%. There are many people that just don't seem to care about others property these days, and it is not just younguns. I have worked for a hunting outfitter for quite a few years now and have seen many things disappear, that have amazed me. Numerous lock-on treestands, doesn't amaze me. The fact that they have to carry bolt cutters to get them does. It is the larger items, such as wooden box blinds, and large ladders. The box would take 2 ppl and the ladder would require more than one trip to remove. Last summer I found several lock-ons and a ladder, pitched into swampy brush, because the adjacent landowner didn't like us having the stands that close to his property line. They were on us and facing the ground we lease.

Sorry about your loss.

You gotta wonder what these scumbags are thinking. Just makes me sick how so many folks just seem to lack basic morals and ethics these days. As is often the case, that bad karma will catch up to this/these piece of poops and deal them the cards they deserve. (hopefully real soon)
