Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Southern Virginia Birds not making much noise

Hunted the past two mornings pretty hard. Had him gobbble both days til around 7:15 and then.....thats it. Thought he would run into my set up, and then........nothing. Saw seven birds yesterday. Four were gobblers, and they all were not intrested in anything. Well, guess I'll go sit by a tree and cluck some more......

Welcome to Va turkey hunting. Same here as always...birds go silent after daybreak and you're lucky to see or hear any after that.

I know what you are feeling. Spent all last week in SW Va hunting and didn't have a great week. I did shoot a big bird but not much talking. Will post pics and story in another post.

hang in there rlp. My neighbors brother has a spot of woods behind his house, says the birds are going off like crazy down there. Luckily i have hunting permission in that spot, going to set up on them end of this week and see what we can make happen
