August 1st and Jannette and I are sitting outside having some supper and a turkey is gobbling like crazy only a hundred yards away. Yes, I left the calls in the house because I was more stunded to heard a gobbling bird this late. It sure is nice to sit there and think back in to the spring season and the enjoyment that I had with all my friends...BT

My neighbor is raising a few turkey, and he has one gobbler....every once in a while I enjoy going back and trying to make him gobble....makes me want to be in the woods again.
