Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Mushrooms Anyone?????

Hubby and I went mushroom hunting this morning - found 300! We ran into one patch that had 120 nice Preachers in it...

Seeing as we can't turkey hunt here (Indiana) until 4/27 - at least we can pick mushrooms!!! LOL

Got some walleye (from Minnesota) out of the freezer & gonna have a fried fish & mushroom FEAST... YUMMMMMMY!!!! Oh, and a few ICE COLD BEERS outta wash it all down NICELY! Hehehe

(The one's I found are on the bottom of the pic (115) & hubby's are on top (185)... Ya Ya, he skunked me!

Kim

You got into them good!
Never looked for them untill last year, but only managed to find around 12 while chasing turkeys.
Still have abit to go before there out here.

I envy you. Where I grew up at they were every where. Now I'm in southeast VA and can't find any! I am going home in a week and I'm going to get all I can!

That is awesome. I always find the morels when I'm in Missouri each year. Can't wait to get there Sunday. Enjoy your meal. Sounds delicious.

Those mushrooms look good. Our mushrooms won't come up for another 3 weeks in Illinois. If we start getting the rain and the warmer weather, we will begin to see them pop up. It's been pretty cool here until the last couple of days. Beer, fish and mushrooms --- yummie! Sounds good to me!

We've been finding them here in semi-southern IL. Arrowmaster mentioned us getting together with you Kim since we're all so close together. And now that you have a pile of shrooms, walleye, and apparently some brewskies, we should definitely set a time!!!
