I am not sure about which ones to pick in the spring. But I love shrooms and pick scallop shrooms as well as the giant puffball. Last fall I picked giant puffball that was around eight pounds which is hugh up here.

NOM NOM NOM !!!!... My mouth is watering just thinkin about the fish, mushrooms, and beer!!!.... I'm actually plannin a nice meal for tonight with some deer loins and sauteed mushrooms... I got mine at Meijer tho.. The mushrooms, anyways... lol... Great lookin find for a days work tho

Me and my dad found somewhere around 400 in Northern Mississippi on April 8 and 9. Never knew they existed til i moved to Missouri to go to college and started hunting them. Now we have a spot at my house we find gallons and gallons every year with no one else looking. It is funny how no one down here even knows what a Morel mushroom is.

They were pretty DANG TASTY!!! :) Hubby & his dad went today and found 500 more! YAY!!!
