I have the Remington 870 Super Mag and I love it, I put a pattern master on it and it is a great shooting gun.

well i can speak from both sides of the fence..my first turket gun was the mossburg 835...i hated it, the pattern was inconsistent and the gun was so poorly built, it just drove my nuts...so last year i sold it and bought the remmington 870 turkey combo 12 ga. and put a ventalator choke tube in it and i just love it...great pattern and smooth shooting.

I've got both the 870 supermag and the older 835 mossberg.the 835 was worn out in two duck seasons,it jammed all the time safety broke and the wads would stick in the barrel it was a bad two seasons .The 870 is a far better gun it can handle the abuse that a hunter puts it throgh mud, water,shot after shot.

i have an 835 never had any trouble with it.Turkey killer!!!
