Default Which autoloader?

Looking to buy a new Turkey Gun, strictly for Turkey.

The 1 option I do want with an autoloader is a pistol or thumbhole stock.

My Choices

1. Franchi 1-12 MSRP 939.00 (this is my first choice but do not believe they offere a Turkey Model?)

2. Mossberg 935 MSRP 855.00

3. Benelli M2 MSRP 1489.00

4. Benelli SBEII MSRP 1839.00

Which gun would you pick? I Know nothing about autoloaders other than what I read? Keep inmind, yes the cheaper 935 has some bad reviews, but if you look hard enough, I can find bad reviews on the most expensive here Benelli SBEII too. This is what confuses me as I want the best bang for my buck. The best price, for one that is reliable and patterns good. Does the 935 naturally get more bad reviews than the Benelli, simply because it's in the hands of more hunters?

Also keep inmind I do not need 3.5 cabaility, but if the gun is a better choice, and has it, then be it. As with those who pick Benelli, the M2 shoots up to 3in., whereas the SBEII shoots 3.5. Would the SBEII be the better gun of the two when comparing just shooting 3in. mags, as with any gun I get, I'll probably only shot the 3in. as I'm not into shooting 50 -60 yards at turkeys, and do not Water Fowl hunt.
Thanks, John

If 3.5" shells aren't a necessity, you can take a look at the Mossberg 930 also. I've heard good things about them from a lot of people I know that own them.

You're correct that the Franchi doesn't have a pistol grip option. If you ask yourself a couple of easy questions you'll get your answer, forget the reviews because all those guns have good and bad reviews and they all have their die hard supporters and their die hard bashers. Is money an object? Then go with the Mossberg. If the money doesn't matter, pick the one that feels right. Regardless of how well the gun functions or how much it costs if it doesn't feel right in your hands and when it's on your shoulder, it doesn't matter. Since the 3.5" isn't a necessity, take a look at the 930, the M2 and give the SBE 2 a shot anyway. Chances are if you handle them one will just feel right to you.
