I bought my first slate (Flextone Tramp Stamp)today. After a few minutes I was getting some good sounds from it. Then I noticed that the glass was completly loose from the pot. Should it be that way or do I need to glue down? Thanks for the help.

It needs to be solid in the fixture. I would take it back to where you bought it rather than try to glue it.

yea ask for a fix replacement or refund...will never get the right sound yourself adjusting it back

Get your money back, If you can any custom made slate calls should sound better than most product calls.

I happened to be in the area of the store yesterday and made a quick exchange. The call sounds good and for under $10, I figured it was a good call to learn with. Thanks for the help.
