Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default 2005 grand slam mounts

I took this Grand Slam in 2005 with a bow. It took me 30 days. I am proud of this accomplishment. I had to travel to several states to get this Grand Slam, but it was well worth it!

I have 8 full mounts in my house. I will show pics of those soon.

Pretty cool. You might as well go for the Royal Slam.

I tried to go for a Royal Slam in Mexico. I spent $3,000 and didn't even see a bird. It was the first time I ever used an outfitter. To me, a true Royal Slam is all in one season and I sure don't want to start all over again.

That's pretty cool that you were able to do it in one year. I completed mine in a 4 yr span and thought I had really done something. Congrats to you.

Im not 100% of what a "grand slam" is but from the looks of the pictures and the differant turkey species, im guessing its where you take one of each kind of turkey?...

Congratz on the accomplishment and great looking mounts!

A Grand Slam is one of all 4 wild turkey species in the USA. It's the Osceola (Florida), Rio Grande (Texas), the Merriam (Western States) and the Eastern (Eastern US). Thanks! It was a big accomplishment for me.

Awesome. I love the way you had them mounted in their individual type habitat.
