Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default We got our mount!

Hey friends!

We got our turkey mount back - this was hubby's turkey (deer_tracks) from Team 8 (2010 Turkey Contest Winning Team!)

Gobbler weighed in at 20# (but I think the DNR scale was wrong, even our taxidermist said that turkey weighs at LEAST 25#), he had a 12" beard and 1 3/8" spurs on both.

I know this picture sucks - I'll try to get a better one uploaded, but my phone is being a ****** (bad word)... LOL

Nice! I like how it's on the kitchen table. Good center piece for Thanksgiving dinner.

Very nice TG. Now it needs a mate, it's your turn to get one.

Is the turkey from this season? If so, you got it back very quickly. I don't expect mine back until September or October.

Yes, it was from this spring! We couldn't believe how fast we got it back either!!! Some of the places we called said it would take a year or more... This guy was GREAT! (Taxidermist) Him and his son run the business and they do a really fantastic job! They had a turkey finished that was FLAWLESS... I've never seen a more beautiful turkey mount! Every feather was perfect on it! And it had a big thick paintbrush for a beard. I wish I had gotten a picture of it - I'm still in awe of how beautiful it was!!! Our turkey's tail fan is a little ragged, but I still love it!
