Default 20GA choke/shell combos?

Can someone suggest a good choke and shell for a 20ga Remington 870 for turkeys? My girlfriend is starting to get into turkey hunting, but ive always been around 12 guages, so any help would be appreciated. Thank You

Undertaker made for Hevi-shot, use 6 shot high density ammo of any brand and you will have a solid 30yd turkey gun, maybe 40+ with the right combo and 3" loads.

I shoot a Remington 870 20 gauge - I've tried 3 choke tubes with it (Charles Daly, Undertaker & Remington Turkey)

Patterned with all three choke tubes using various shot/loads and the best choke tube was the Remington Super Full Turkey Choke Tube. The other choke tubes are great, just didn't like my gun apparently. LOL

The best shot with that combo was Remington Nitro #5 and Federal Turkey Loads #5 also. This was for my gun.

learningturkeys combo is great - next year I'm hoping to try hevishot/6 shot. The combo I am using this year (above) worked best for me as a beginner... (and a girl! LOL)

Hope that helps ya!!!

THIS is what I use; .555". Produces a great pattern whether shooting Pb or HTL loads.

I've only tried a few in my 870 but so far the Tight Wad by Primos in a .570 with Hevi 13 shot 3 inch #5 has made it a solid 40 Yd gun. I'll be trying a few more next year.

I still can't figure out why folks don't mind wasting money on a bunch of cheap chokes but don't just spend the money in the first place in the choke that hold ALL 20 gauge World Records ?!? Buy the Black Diamond Strike from Indian Creek..... combined with Hevi-13.... nothing compares! Granted the choke initially may cost a bit more at $80 but it's the LAST choke you'll ever need to buy! Do the research and see for yourself ?!?
