Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Hey guys. Let me start by saying money is super tight right now. I am currently shooting a Benelli Nova with an Undertaker .665 and Winchester Supreme HV 3.5" 2oz. #4. I am averaging 80 hits in a 10 inch circle at 40 yards. Would you all be confident with that or would you have to upgrade? If I upgrade it will be to a Jellyhead and Hevi 13, #7. But like I said, money is tight right now! I can't just switch to those shells because my Undertaker says "lead only"

My first suggestion would be to try some #6s in the same shell. You'll have many more pellets to play with. Also, try some 3" shells in the Win HV. Sometimes the 3" pattern better than the big boys. This would be a lot cheaper than a new choke and high $ shells.

I'd say you've got a killing pattern. I shoot An Undertaker .665 tube and I'm big fan of Win. #4's. I've taken birds out to 50 yd.'s with them. You may not get the pattern density that you would with #6's, but each pellet has a lot more impact and will do more damage.

I would try some 3 inch shells
both of my guns had a lot better pattern with a 3 inch than the
3 1/2
I have a Nova with a Carlson choke & a Winchester with a Undertaker choke
