those are nice decoys!
now, i have searched every end of the local wal mart, and dicks sporting goods store, and i can not find a kind of decoy that my older brother used to hunt with! maybe they dont make them any more or maybe im not looking in the right place but they were the full rubber ones...does anybody use these anymore? you didnt blow them up and they were hollow inside but were very strong and realistic, if i could get my hands on a set of those!!.....

They look pretty life-like feeding around the trash cans if you ask me lol lol

Just busting your chops, I have used similar decoys for years and have had plenty of success. Just remember that the decoy is not just there to bring the gobbler in but also to keep his eye off of you so you can make the shot. Very important for me because I bowhunt turkeys without a blind (most-times) so anything that looks half like a turkey will work given the right setup!!! Good luck to ya

Thumbs up

I just ordered these two new feather-flex decoys from Cabela's. I like the much better detail in the jakes head and their new "flocking" material as well. We'll see how they work come May1st!! LOL!!

Just got back from opening weekend in SoCal.

One bird each day, both with 9.5" beards.

The Pretty Boy with a real fan tail and cut the sides and put in "fanned" wings also and place it near Pretty Girl.

I've have used decoys and have not used decoys.......set-up & sat and run & gun - BUT; I modified the basic decoy with a real tail fan AND real "fanned" wings...............I've never see ANYTHING work like this !!! Of course the submissive hen helps.
