Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Whats your opinion?

I use to own one of their "pen like" lights but it failed me. I now own this Clip version which clips to your ball cap bill!! Works very slick!! Doesn't spook game, which will alert other animals as well compared to a white light. Here's a link and they are now on sale I see!!!

Yeah don't use one, it'll be like a warning beacon for them to stay away......
Just hope you know your way around your turkey woods!!!

If you dont' walk directly under them and keep a light held low and pointed directly down, you won't spook them. We've done it for years and have set up pretty close to roosted birds.

Hell I use a bright flashlight to hike in most of the way and always have, never spooked any birds. I never use any form of light the last 200 yards in where they can see the light. One flock I hunt are high over a ridge from where I start in so there is no reason not to start out with a light.

Would a red light affect the birds or do they not see it?
Use a buck grunt call when you hit something large or break a twig
No flash light let eyes focus in low light and go for it
