So my dad is the one that drew the lake sonoma hunt, but I guess he cant make it... so I need a place this weekend to hunt, anyone have any ideas? what do you think of the Knoxville wildlife area? need some help asap with this issue

Brentwood is more in Central Cali. Hunting turkeys on public land is like hunting pigs..most who know of where to find them don't talk. I hunt way north of you in El Dorado NF.

I have heard there are turkeys in MNF kinda by lake county. That is the border of cache creek WA and that BLM land that is NW of cache creek. Good luck!

brentwood is down by antioch and oakley.. I lived in folsom, so im pretty familiar with El Dorado NF, there are alot of birds out salmon falls road towards the back side of Folsom lake

I know this won't really help any, but I'm going to do some scouting in the Knoxville area this Saturday, the 27th. I've never hunted it before, however, I'm told it has a lot of promise.
