Most people say put them in the refridgerator after use. After each hunt I will run my mouth calls under warm water and then put them back into their case and store them in the FREEZER. I've had some calls for 4 years and they still sound as crisp as they did when I first got them.

I have kept mine in the freezer in an old plastic snuff box. In with them I have a small cube of sponge soaked in mouthwash. They are always moist. I've had some of them for ten years.
