Default Pa Birds Gobbling

I went out this morning to listen for birds, it was cold in the 30's but the birds were gobbling pretty good. The season here is more than a month away, it doesn't start here until May 1. Just wanted to know is anyone in Pa, or were your season hasn't started yet if you were hearing any birds.

Heard Birds in NW Pa earlier this week but I also cheat because I know the birds may be responding to a fire siren that goes off... Not sure the siren was goin off but that could have caused it

Had two or three gobbling on the roost just two afternoons ago behind the house and our season doesn't start till the tenth of April.... I can't wait. Some friends have already seen some strutting in fields around the area.

It's about the same each year as for hearing them. The only problem is come the last 2 weeks of our season, you'll be lucky to even hear one then?

The majority of gobbling, definitely comes before our season even starts.
