so I decided to make a few more calls. Gonna try out a couple made out of Oak this year.



In the middle of turning strikers, and handles here.



Here, they are all layed out and ready for glueing/assembly.
Sound boards from left to right are Blue and Green Acrylic, and purple heart. Strikers from left to right are purple heart, hickory, and zebra wood, all with oak handles.


And since it was my son's birthday the other day, I gave him the oak call on the left with the blue acrylic, and purple heart striker.
He's been playing with it in the house, sure sounds good to hear him practicing. Come on turkey season!!! What have you all been doing to get ready for the season?

Ive been practicing a little and listening to a cd Tree Top Turkeys. I gotta fix the paint on my decoys.

Very nice calls. I am a sucker for custom pot calls. The acrylic sound boards are an interesting twist.
