I am moving to Durango in a couple months and was wondering how the turkey hunting is down.

Lots of Merriams in the Durango Silverton area. Lots of public land. Check along the Animas river north of town and around the many lakes in the area. Lots of big Mule Deer also.

Hey, S.I.T.R., Durango is a cool town to visit, I do know that. I' ve been there about 3 times I believe. I' m sure it will be a great place to call home also. Good luck on the move. Hope you locate some turkeys there.
