Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Sons uses 20 ga w/ xtra full and the pattern is as good as my 12 ga rem 870. I watched him shoot his first bird at 38 yds and he knocked that bird completely over and it never even flinched I was amazed and it is light I hunt w/ it when running and gunning and the kid is not out

I have friends who's hunted with 20 gauge for 20 years. The modified choke will work just make sure you get it close.

+/- 25 yards with #6 shot - ready(remain motionless), aim(at head), fire(squeeze the trigger) = dead bird !

The first bird I took was with a 20ga with a mod choke. I shoot a 12ga 835 now, but bought my sons the Mossberg bantam last year and wonder why I didn't stick with the 20ga. A LOT LESS recoil, weight, shorter gun, etc. I did take it a couple times last year while they were in school. LOL I bought an aftermarket choke from Cabela's for it and it patterns awesome.

A 20ga will do the job!
