I just bought a Dave Holloran slate and I'll tell ya it sounds good... He's out of new york... I plan on getting another this year...

NWTF had an article on a few calls that traveled the nation from hunter to hunter.

One was a copper pot call by Prairie calls and he is from Illinois.

Goggle Custom turkey calls and a few otehr web sigths hould pop up to give you an idea.
