Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Anybody else wish it was the end of March?

I've been thinking turkey alot lately. I was out scouting for deer this morning and ran into a flock of hens and called back and forth with them for a while. Man I cant wait till spring! We got a long way to go though.

Default Love the fall

I enjoy the fall and winter too much to wish it away. Football, deer and waterfowl hunting. March will be here in due time.

Boy do I wish it was March.
I have missed Turkey season three years in a row.
Two was going back to school, the third was because my Mother got sick.
And now she has Small Cell Lung Cancer.
It is going to be hard on her when the radiation, and chemo therpy starts.

I thought I could get to go at least some, but it just didn't happen.

Hopefully I can get in some Squirrel Hunting in Oct, and Deer Hunting in Nov.

I'll 2nd that. I love turkey hunting, but I can't skip deer hunting, duck hunting and college football. I'll have to admit though, I'm always thinking of turkeys. I saw four gobblers on the side of the road today on my way back home from my property. That kind of fired me up.

I saw a hen and 2 young birds in the edge of a field the other day. I guess they were feasting on the grasshoppers, got me all fired about season. I might even try fall season this year.
