Default My 2003 gobbler picture.


He was a real talker, gobbling all the way in. He came in with another strutter, side by side, both hammering! I took the top of his head off because he got to 7 yards before I got him out of strut and his up for a shot. He and his buddy were bullying my jake decoy so I took him in defense of my deke. I took the top of his head off, partly visible in the pic below. It was an awesome hunt though!

Congratulations. Thats what I call calling them in close. You know they are close when you can smell their breathe when they gobble.

What were the stats?

congrats!! what were the measurment?? he looks like a nice one...congrats..sounds like an exciting hunt...i love them defense shots...ive taken deer in self defense..5 yds with a 3006 running right beside me i duno what else to call it....good job! nice pics too
