Well guys I finally fullfilled one of my dreams of hunting the beautiful Merriam Gobblers in SD. Me and Kevin (Buckmaster1) went out to SD for the opener on April 12th, we had beautiful weather and got us some dandy Merriams in the process. Those birds are a little more wired out there than our Easterns here in PA, allways movin around and stayin in full strut like little wind up toys as Kevin says....LOL
I have had a great season so far and hope to get the hang of posting some pics for ya' ll. As for the birds I got so far this yr: a Beautiful Merriam 18 lb 9" beard and 3/4 in clear lookin spurs, KY Eastern 23.5 lb 10" paintbrush beard and a tick over 1" spurs, PA Eastern 19 lb 9.5" beard and 1" spurs.
I hope all you guys are havin a great season too.
Catch ya' ll later

If you need any help in posting those pics let me know I will be glad to help if I can.
