Now that I've shot a jake an want a big tom,if I call and another jake comes in what do you do?Just wait and see if something else comes in or get ready to move scareing the jake away?

well if you have a hen decoy and a jake comes in and hangs around and a big tom sees the jake with the hen he will probly come over to take the hen away from the jake most of the time but thats happens with me but it may be differnent for you i mean you could scare the jake away but you might be taking the chance of a tom being right around the corner slowly working his way into the you.

Heck no don't scare it - try things like raising your gun slow and then putting it down. Test your skills and learn. Call a bit like purrs. Play with it.

This is what I do. I learn from just how nervous the bird gets and this helps me learn what I can and can not do. After 20 plus years I still do that!

This years Jake you let walk could be next years long beard and the year after trophy!

So far I let a total of 19 walk.

Did shoot them with video tho.......so no one can call me a liar!
