RE: Another Question for PA Hunters?

I think Pa' s season should definitly come in atleast 2 weeks earlier. This year is not looking to bad because of some cold weather which kept the gobblers shut up a little longer. Most years though after the first 2 weeks of the season it gets pretty dead.

RE: Another Question for PA Hunters?

I beleive that the PA season is manageaged just right. The first part of the season will allow the hens to be bread before the stress of the hunt starts and this will give a higher number in a hatch rate for the next season. As for the slowing in the gobbling activity when the season starts , this will happen in the second part of the mating peak. From what I see here in the mid part of PA there is lots of great hunting yet left in this state , as the Toms still tend to henned up. Good luck to yun' s all ;)...B
