Default Turkeys Strutting in NC!!!!

Hey Guys, I went out riding Sunday morning and saw 3 different flocks of turkeys. In two of the flocks their was 3 or 4 gobblers strutting around. I was excited to see this. It was cold and rainy also which surprised me to see all this activity.

I seen quite a few turkeys on my way to work this morning. Two Toms were in full strut out in the field.. Funny thing is on the way home from work 9 hours later they were no more than 50 yards from the same spot.. lol I wonder if they moved too far all day.

It's a small world isn't it Kevin. Sounds like we're hunting the same general area. I live in New Bern but hunt in Jones County off of Hwy 41 near Trenton. We saw a mess of turkeys on Saturday around noon as well as a few deer. We have been seeing a lot of turkeys this year, it should be a good season. Good luck!!!!
