RE: camo skin on a gun?
You can as it is personal preference.
But I no longer try to hide my gun - It is a matte finish but think about it? Just what will that Tom see as you point the gun at him? Your arm is in Camo - your hands are Camo - hunkered with your cheek down on the stock - What exactly will that Tom see? Probably just this --> O - the end your muzzle. I have a Black Powder side by side that is all shiny and glossed. I don't bother to Camo that either and it has not caused me any trouble. And if you hunt out of a blind doesn't matter at all then. I strongly recommend you do not tape that old gun. Is a real mess remvoingthe tapeafter season no matter what pre-treatment you use. Been there will never do that again! Ole Besty derserves it! Movement is the key. JW |

Not needed. Lack of movement is much more important than gun camo. If you want acamo gun, buy one orhave it professionally dipped.

Never had an issue with not camoing the gun.
Actually I dislike camo guns, and stainless, and all synthetic stocksfor that matter. A gun should be blue steel and walnut, but of course that's just my opinion. |
