Wingbone Yelper

Attached is a picture of 2 yelpers I made from Christmas Dinner.
I used the wings from a store-bought hen weighing about 15 pounds.
Articles I've read indicated the bones would be brittle - but they are fine.
So far I've taught myself to treecall, cackle, cluck, purr, cutt and can combine several to make addtional sounds.
I can even make a passable kee-kee and a kee-kee run.
I'm using both mouth and hand action to get different soundsand "lip" pressure helps to change pitch.
I am able to get the beginnings of a gobble, but rapid sound-no sound from the call is difficult.
Does anybody have any ideas?
I can't wait to get it out into the woods.

My brother made a wingbone call two years ago from a turkey that I shot. It sounds all right, but it took him a lot of practicing to be able to call with it. I've never tried it. I think its pretty cool to make your own calls. Good luck!
