Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

You're welcome. It is for the benefit of everyone here. Frankly it has been my opinion for a long time that a dozen good turkey hunters will not hurt the hunting or the population near as much as three or four bad ones. It is critical for the hunter to have education.... and it is imperitive to prevent the turkeys from being educated. That might not make sense but once you kill about 15 or 20 birds you'll start to understand folks like me who never care if they shoot another one. And I'm not exactly 'old' either, but considering that when I was growing up there was about 250,000 spring turkey hunters nation-wide; now according to the NWTF there are nearly 3 million.... just about anyone who deer hunts now, spring turkey hunts too... in a way its good, and in a way its bad. Turkey and waterfowl hunting used to be like a cult or a secret society of odd balls. In a way we still are.... just that we ain't a secret no more.
