Good turkey bait: clean out the horse stalls and spread out on pasture. The turkeys will come in and pick for hay and grain, and eat anything, this will keep them occupied and you can get within 20 feet.

I thought you said it was illegal to bait for turkeys?

In Michigan you can feed them in the winter, but cannot bait turkey's specifically in the spring.

yeah i cant HUNT OVER bait but i can have it out for them. but all the bait has to be gone for a week before you can hunt the spot where the bait was
