Of the box calls that are readily available via WalMart, Kmart, local shops, etc...what brand of box call would you recommend, and why?
I don' t have a box call at all, and an thinking of adding it to my arsenal, as I know they can be very good at times.
Thanks

the Lynch longbeard used to be my favorite box call. I lost mine in the mountains several years ago, and bought me one at walmart the other day. they don' t sound like they used to. [:' (]
I' d recomend the Lynche fool proof. it' s a one sided call, but sounds great!

I like the Lynch fool-proof. I bought one for my backup box. I have a Lynch raspy hen model # 152 that i bought 15 years ago. I can' t find that model anymore. I think the foolproof took its place

QuakerBoy' s Clover leaf 10 sider , maybe a Idea. You can change the lid and have a number of different Hen sounds in the same Box. Just something to keep in mind...BT
