we have a lot of white turkeys in southern newjersey. Pretty much every flock i see has atleast one iether part white/silver or completely white/silver. Only ever seen it in hens though.

thats awesome. i have never seen a silver turkey in the wild before all the ones ive seen were on farms. your buddy hasa lot of long beards there, does he need any help thinning them down?

Its a true Narragansett hen. The oldest breed of wild turkey. In the eraly 1990's there were only a handful, now one of the most common domesticated-wild birds. Great trait to have in your turkey gene-pool.
