Default Slate Call Striker Tip

I just got my first slate call for Christmas. A Primos Freak with the Frictionite face. What shape should the tip of a striker be. I've seen some that are rounded of and some that are pretty squared off. What do you guys prefer?

I think one that is a little more on the round side, i think its a little more forgiving.

When you use sandpaper on the slate, make sure to keep it in the same direction.
Like the pic I made.

Good Luck.

Good, practicing is key. I love slate calls and actually have two Freaks myself. In no time you'll be able to run that slate without even thinking about it.
