Rio hunt pic' s!!
Just got the film back, so here you go. This first pic is of me(maytom), Jim(Slater), Mark Greico and his Rio, and Chuck(ctwny1). We just got back after the very first morning outing, and Mark was the first to score. These were the guys that I flew down there with.
Here is a pic of my one and only Rio taken around 10:00am on the second morning as I was waiting to get picked up!! Talk about a luck out!! He weighed 19 1/2lbs, had a 9 3/4" beard and 3/4" spurs!! This bird gobbled three times as he strutted in from approx 60 some yards away down this dirt road. I was set-up just around the bend in that road and as he came into view, bang!! Right place at the right time!! The truck showed up about 10 minutes later!! Almost would of ruined it if they came any ealier!!
