Let's hear your gun/choke/load combo. I know this question will come up at some point so let's get em out there.

Me....

Mossberg 20ga
Mossberg ported xfull turkey choke
Winchester Extended range #6 (I think )

I have killed numerous birds with this combo:

Charles Daly 20 Guage Auto

Tru Glo Ported Extended Double Full Turkey Choke

Winchester 3" Premium Turkey Loads.

This setup is good out to about 50 yards. The gun with the factory chokes is patterned pretty tight. When you throw that turkey choke in the ole gun she tightens up like you wouldn't believe. I recently started killing turkeys with my bow so I think the gun will start staying at home for the most part.

Adrian Hare - Quaker Boy Pro Staff - has a video where he patterns his 20 ga. with a variety of chokes and different loads to which helps him determine what was best and dictated his maximum range to take that shot.

Well worth your time watching that DVD

rochelle; If you want maximum performance you cannot go wrong with Nitro #7's and a quality choke (I prefer Indian Creek) in .555
You might also try the Hevi-13 3" 1-1/4oz #6's.

Thats a nice pattern you are getting trkyhntr247. I get 110 @ 40 yards, but I'm shooting in 75-80 degree weather. I bet your hits will go up even more once it warms up.
