Which do you like better?
White latex, or clear latex? I can't stand the white latex. So what do Yall like best? |

My two favorite calls Dave used a grey and on the other a green outer layer for a reed...they work just the same as the clear or white ones. What's the difference? |

I think you're tasting the powder that is sometimes on a new mouth call, thats why I always thoroughly wash them when I buy one. I've never noticed a difference in different colored latex.

The white latex I use turns clear after using it for some time. It is covered with a powder like struttingobbler3 said. Try rinsing it off first. Then after use, rinse again and store in the fridge.

Me either - and I wash mine also.
I have some that are clear and some that are green and some that are yellow and some that are white or and just checked - some are shot - seen their better days. JW |

Well my only comment, (not really), as JW! says, some of his calls are shot. Don't matter, He has impressed me and others when it comes to hunting a gobbler. He may not be the smartest person in the world, but he knows his birds.
