This here is one of gobbcaller's hunting buddys. I woulden't go hunting without him. I would just like to say that this lottery Wisconsin has for tags is the most unfair system I have ever seen. I have been sending in for six years now and have only gotten a better season than the last season once. Mike and I have put on a lot of miles hunting Longbeards in what we refer to as the Summer season. The only good I would like to think has come from hunting such a dificult season is, I would hope it has made us better hunters. I have Last season again this year. Mike and I will be out there though, and weather we get one or not, we will sure have fun trying.

wow! i'm shocked, it's like finding out you just lost your job. i can't even imagine not being able to spring turkey hunt. we are very fortunate that we can take 3 gobblers a season. well gobbcaller you ought to come and hunt in georgia this spring we have plenty of turkeys down here.

Turkey Addict, glad to see you join this forum!!! You do have a great buddy there, Mike is tops in my book as well!!! That's why I can surely feel for him, because I know how much he lives for the spring season!!! What a true friend by taking him out with you and letting him be with you on your hunt. Am I ever glad that Mo. don't have one of those stinking drawings. If I did'nt draw a tag I might just have to go anyway. GC come on down to Mo. we got plenty to go around. We have a 3 week season and you can take 2 gobblers.

GC, that's really too bad that you did not draw a tag. It does sound like you will still enjoy the season though. I love scouting for birds, maybe there is some new country out there for you to explore. Going hunting with your friends should help a lot. And like some one else said, it would be a great time to take someone out for their first time. Anyway, enjoy the season.
