Well I work at a fernery where we grow Leatherleaf fern(it is the green plants that come with roses,and other flowers)and when we pack the fern we have to put it in a refrigerated(sp)cooler so that it dose not rot or loose its color before it is shipped to the costomer.

I had mine in the garage last year with the fan drying and one day the beard was missing with nothing left but mouse droppings.So I mounted the fan without a beard.This past fall I was cleaning out my garage and in a drawer found my beard.The mouse used it for a nest.Results,one dead mouse,and one happy hunter.:)
