has anyone ever had their barrel polished on their 835 several people have told me that for the gun to shoot at its best the barrel and forcing cone need to be polished it sort of makes sence if you look at the barrel its pretty rough just wondering

.Yes i have,And done the work myself,you will not believe the pattern after it is done,garantee it to increase you pattern a bunch,and alot of help to ya in alot ways,cleaning.etc...and i say again you wont believe the difference,and i also sugested this to the company to smooth them bores before selling,they ignored it,all well.....

Cut the handle off an old cleaning rod. Put on a 20 guage brass brush. Wrap a piece of that green nylon potscrubber pad aroudn the brush. Pour on some cleaning solvent. Put the rod in an electric drill and go up and down the barrel. If you can get a bore guide, that will help.
