May 7th for me, out here in Utah we have three hunts on the unit that I drew the permit for and I got the late one, I have from the 7th to the end of May to bag up and help team 8 WIN. Last year my big bro. drew the same unit and he scored a huge tom only a two or three year old but he scaled in at around 30 lbs at the local grocrey store on the way home, they had all the crickets they could eat and he was fat, he had a 7 1/2 beard and spurs wasn' t much, worn down from the rocks not much over 1/2 inch. I hope I can find his DADDY this year TEAM 8 RULES, shed horn

My first hunt will start in S.D. starting on April 18th. I' m ready to go NOW! I start May 1st here in Mn., and May 7th in Wisconsin. I had a trip set up for Texas, but that looks like that may have fallen apart as my contact for going down there has bought himself a new truck and now says he cann' t afford to go this year. I' m trying to set up a Kansas hunt to take the Texas hunt place. Good luck to all my team members! Let' s take it to the rest of the teams! Paintbrush

My season starts April 15th. I' ll be hunting Merriam' s in the northeastern part of Washington state. This is my third year and hope the third time is a charm. I' ve done my homework, studied my maps, patterned my shotgun, and have secured permission on private property. Give ' em hell boys. I' ll try to do my part for Team 8.

Team 8 I went scouting yesterday and we found alot of turkeys, there were 14 toms in one flock and 8 toms in the other flock, they haven' t even started to break up yet, the one flock had 56 birds in it, we covered over 200 miles driving around the mountain and learning the country, I don' t think I can wait until MAY 7. I am thinking about driving to colorado and hunting for 4 or 5 days in april maybe that will hold me over, good hunt' en shed horn
