Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

OK Ryan Tucker, kyle hoyt, VP, the_outlaw, BIRD DOG, Wickman, reddawg, Tarheel Turkey, & BearMt.

Report in and tell us where you are from and what are your spring turkey hunting plans are. Lets have a lot of fun with this contest.

I got my Nebraska eastern early shotgun permit in the mail on Friday so my plans are to bow hunt March 25 - May 18 and then shotgun hunt April 12-20.

My honey hole is public land along the Missouri river just below Omaha. Its 1,200 acres of river bottom forest that is crawling with turkeys and deer. Nebraska transplanted both Rios and Merriams here and a few easterns are running around too.

I' m from NC. My first season starts in Alabama on March 15th. I will be hunting there for most of the first week on public & private land. I have been down the last few years with moderate success. I just hope the weather cooperates. My next seasons start on April 12th in NC & VA. I hunt all private land in both states with good success each year. I just hope my " luck" holds out for 2003. Good luck to all of my teammates and have a safe season.

Well Tarheel it looks like you' ll be up first (Mar. 15) to report success and then maybe me when I go for it with a bow (Mar. 25). I have a sister that lives in NC and many, many relatives in northern Alabama around and between Huntsville & Florence.

Wickman, you didn' t mention what days your season is or permit is for. That is some beautiful country up there.

South Louisiana starts Mar 22 (2 mo wks) I was picked for the Sherrburne Wildlife Mgmt area lotto hunt (2days) Hunting on almost 60,000 acres of some of the most highly populated turkey woods in the state. Only 20 hunters in the state are drawn for that weekend- Going to scout it out next week and will give you guys a kickback on the Outcome. Almost forgot this, April 9 leaving for Sonora Tx to hunt Rios for 5 DAYS , WIll definately score there !!!!

BearMt here from S.E. PA. Looks like you guys will get a good jump on me. I' ll be starting my season in OK on 4/20, chasing Rio' s with the smoke pole. Then PA 4/26. Then NY, I just hooked up with 200 acres in NY. The snow here is melting fast, though its going to be cold this coming week. Needless to say I am pumped!

Hey guys I live in North central Minnesota, and I' m starting out my season in the black hills in Wyoming. I got a bird there last year and also called in 2 other really nice toms for my mom so i should have pretty good luck. Im going there either the last week in April or the first week in May. Then i get home and I am going to be hunting around here from May 16-21st. They just opened up this area to hunting and there are only about 50 licenses that got bought. I lined up a quite a bit of land that the land owners have seen a ton of birds on so Im pretty confident about that hunt too. For the past 7 years, I have gotten a bird every year.....jeez i sure hope i didnt jinx myslef....well i guess we' ll see good luck...go #7
