I still usr my Remington 870 that I bought back in High School & that was in 71. It only shoots 2 3/4" shells but I have never felt under gunned. I use a full choke & 1 1/2 oz of #4 shot. I' m still using my old duck loads----hard to use them up when you only use 1 in the spring & 1 in the fall.
