Default Need some advice for tom. morning hunt

They are calling for some rain overnight and in the early morning. Having said that would it be a smart choice to go to an area were they roosted 2 weeks ago (pines)? This stand of pines is between two fields and the turkeys roost there alot. Also as a decoy set up would you put out a jake and a hen or just a hen? The gobblers are grouped together and not very responsive to calls.

What state are you hunting in???

What you described sounds like the perfect place to be in bad weather... I'd get a strutting decoy with a hen

Keep in mind... many times your hunting bad morning weather, the birds will stay on the roost longer, be patient... Kill birds....
