Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

I' m thinking about trading my 11-87SPT in for one of these. Does anybody have one and how do they like it? The one i' m looking at is a 3" Mag...

May I ask why you' re trading it in? A few months ago I sold my 870 Super Mag for a the 1187 SPT. There was nothing wrong with the gun, it' s an awesome turkey gun. I did it because I' d never hunted with a auto and always wanted one.

MK-M-GOBL there is nothing wrong with the gun it is in immaculent condition. I just like a pump gun plus i have this bad habit of running up on a gobbler and not putting my gun on safe. With the pump i feel a little more safe. Plus i want a gun with rifle iron sites...

Ken, I had one as well and sold it off mainly because my 1300 is my main turkey gun. I won that 11-87 in a contest, and after selling it, put the money towards some archery gear instead.

Safety first, I like that What part of MD are you in? I was in Montgomery Co. for a long time. Use to turkey hunt in Fredrick Co. around Sugar Loaf Mt. and in Washinton Co. near Sharpsburg. Some of my biggest turkeys I' ve taken were in Sharpsburg. Good luck
