What Turkey Shotgun Do You Shoot?
#31
I shoot a Remington 870 Express Supermag 3.5" 12.
It is a turkey bazooka!
It's full camo w/ the pisto grip.
You can see it in this pic.

Being a lefty sucks! I'm using my Remington 870 Express Mag LH with factory full choke and Winchester XX 3" #5s, and TruGlo adjustable sights. It does the job, but that is my deer slaying weapon and I don't like having to move the sights from slugs to turkey loads so I'm thinking of getting a Browning BPS in MOBU next year with 3.5" mags and a tighter choke. We'll see if the Mrs. will go for it.

Rem. 11-87 3" camo completely....
kinda the old style camo though, not mossyoak etc....kinda "remington camo" if you know what I'm saying. Have to say though it breaks up amazingly well from a short distance, the camo is more blocky/break up than blending types. I'm glad I knew where I placed it a few times, otherwise I would not have found it.

My friend Rich purchased a Remington 870 Super Magnum fully camo with a 26" barrel last week, also purchased a Remington Super Full Turkey Choke for this shotgun, he is using Winchester Supremes High Velocity 3.5" #5, this morning while hunting together he took a 20lb., 9" beard Gobbler at 50 yards

Used to use the 870 in this pic, but the 28" barrel caused me some grief every now and again. I hate being limited on where to set-up because I can't swing my barrel thru the saplings. I just bought the 835 w/20" barrel off a friend. Its in Hardwoods Green, has after market sights but I think next season I'm going to do a scope transplant. Not sure if I'm going to take the Nikon w/matching camo off the slug barrel and use it or take the simmons off the 870, or get something new all together. This rig doesn't put as many pellets in the 10" circle @40 as swamp collies, but when I finally got around to spending my last few $$ on hevi-13's the only choke I tried was my jelly head. I haven't tried putting them thru my pure gold yet. 165 pellets in a 10" circle @ 40 yards ain't too shabby...
